Dreamcatcher Hostel

Beautiful hostel in the outdoor adventure mecca of Golden, British Columbia. Renovated and opened the hostel seven years ago, we have built up an excellent reputation and a great regular guest base. Through the winter especially we have repeat guests almost every night and the summer is already looking good with almost every weekend booked out through July, August and September. All fixtures and fittings are included with the sale. We are super clean and have maintained everything very well. You would not have to do anything/buy anything – just walk in and step behind the desk!

The hostel has lots of potential for a future owner/owners. There is an attached cafe currently rented with a solid tenant that could be integrated into the hostel as a cafe or a bar. The hostel has a flexible array of accommodation set over three floors. The main floor is a huge open plan kitchen/dining area/living area with a beautiful river rock fireplace at its centre. Two bedrooms are accessed off this area and three bathrooms. The first floor has most of the bedrooms with five private rooms (all en-suite) and two dorms that share a shower room. The recently renovated top floor has three further rooms and a self-contained managers flat. There is also a garage attached to the side by the large private car park with a laundry room, boot drying room, office, equipment racks and a full basement. The whole building (hostel & cafe) is situated on three city lots at one end of the main shopping street of Golden – a brilliant central location.
